评估

Our assessments are thoughtfully designed to foster the growth of our students into highly skilled engineers equipped to tackle the challenges of the modern world. Through a dynamic blend of h和s-on projects, 理论知识, 体验式学习, we aim to instill a deep underst和ing of electrical 和 computer engineering principles. Our dedicated faculty 和 state-of-the-art facilities provide a supportive 和 stimulating environment that empowers students to thrive 和 make meaningful contributions to the ever-evolving fields of electrical 和 computer engineering.

The Department of 电 和 计算机工程 offers a four-year baccalaureate program in electrical engineering which is accredited by the Engineering 认证 Commission of ABET, http://www.教唆.org. The electrical engineering program provides a solid foundation in circuits, Elective freedom allows specialization in areas such as controls, The curriculum has been designed so that the graduates can achieve the program educational objectives (PEOs) listed below. These objectives are consistent with the mission statements of the 部门大学和 大学. Achieving the PEOs is made possible by preparing the students to attain the seven student outcomes listed below.

The 电气工程 program seeks to prepare graduates who, after the first few years of their professional career, 有:

  • Established themselves as practicing engineering professionals in industry or government, or engaged in graduate study.
  • Demonstrated their ability to work successfully as members of a professional team 和 function effectively as responsible professionals.
  • Demonstrated their ability to adapt to new technology 和 career challenges.

Our electrical engineering graduates must attain:

  1. 识别能力, 制定, 和 solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, 科学, 和数学.

  2. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health,

  3. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences. [以前的ECE SO4]

  4. An ability to recognize ethical 和 professional responsibilities in engineering situations 和 make informed judgements, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, 经济, 环境, 以及社会背景. [以前的ECE SO5]

  5. An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative

  6. An ability to develop 和 conduct appropriate experimentation, 分析和解释数据, 和 use engineering judgement to draw conclusions. [以前的ECE SO3]

  7. An ability to acquire 和 apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.

The Department of 电 和 计算机工程 offers a four-year baccalaureate program in computer engineering which is accredited by the Engineering 认证 Commission of ABET, http://www.教唆.org. The program is designed to provide a broad engineering background 和 a comprehensive foundation in the technical principles underlying the computer area. The technical core consists of course work from electrical engineering 和 computer 科学 to address hardware 和 software aspects respectively. The curriculum has been designed so that the graduates can achieve the program educational objectives (PEOs) listed below. These objectives are consistent with the mission statements of the 部门大学 和 大学. Achieving the PEOs is made possible by preparing the students to attain the seven student outcomes listed below.
